Recruitment Stats at Bippit - Oct '23
Hi There,
Emily here - People and Talent Lead. 👋 We know one of the biggest challenges when looking for a role, is that feeling of time preservation.
"Is this application going to be worth my time?"
"Am I going to get valuable feedback?"
"Will I actually hear back?"
And it's easy enough to just say "Yes", but I thought I'd share some data around our current process at Bippit, and the data to prove that applying with us is never a waste of time.
Firstly, here's our current NPS score of 68 (% of promoters - % of detractors). This is inclusive of application, wait times and quality of feedback received.
What does this mean?
To us, this means that we are doing an excellent job in providing a great application process.
Next here are the results of transparency of communication. This involves application confirmation, any interim communication and also transparency of feedback off the back of a rejection:
What does this mean?
In a hiring period where the words "ghosting", "ignored" and "generic" are rife, we want to ensure we are breaking the mould. We provide every applicant with specific and bespoke feedback on their application. This means that we can't please everyone... some people will disagree with our feedback or decision. However, we believe that it is more important to provide this feedback, to help a person truly understand the decision, rather than to provide a blanket, generic decline which doesn't contribute to a persons professional growth. As you can see, at least 92% of people agree with us, somewhat, or a lot.
